Having a website domain with your name seems pretty pretentious, even though entrepreneur school said you can't live without it in these days of the Internet.
Nowadays I use it as a useful place to direct my peeps, friends, family and other interested parties to all the different, nutty things I comment on and am interested in.
My Loves
My hobby and even obsession is Doctor Who. I have been going to the North American Doctor Who convention called "Gallifrey One" ever since it started in 1989. Don't expect me to stop going or quit loving this British television show anytime soon. Once you watch it, you are hooked.
The online Doctor Who community is so creative and awesome that I created separate accounts just to keep better tabs on them. Here's where I hang out with them

Doctor Who: The Five and Dime video projects
Being an avid fan of Doctor Who and spreading the word amongst friends, I turned my friend Kristen into a 10th Doctor David Tennant fan overnight by showing her her first episode, "The Girl in the Fireplace". Without knowing she was a romantic, period costume-loving fan, I hit gold on the first try to convert her. The next day she had watched a dozen episodes and was as rabid about it as I was.
For those not familiar with Doctor Who, the show has been around since 1963 and through a very clever plot contrivance, replaces the main character with a new actor when they finish their term. The Doctor, however, remains the same man in basic character and history, though the personality has been known to change radically. This is how the show managed to survive to reach it's 50th anniversary in 2013.
There is a kind of "bonding" moment when a new fan finds the particular incarnation of Doctor they attach to. We refer to those special Doctor characters as "My Doctor". My Doctor is the 5th one, played by the wonderful, gentle and preppy Peter Davison.
So what does all this have to do with the Five and Dime project? Well, Kristen's Doctor is the 10th and mine is the 5th and it was originally Kristen's love of the amazing job Doctor who fans did on music videos portraying the show that gave birth to "The Five and Dime Fangirls". Each year since 2011 we have produced an hour-long Doctor Who music video festival for our panel at the North American Doctor Who fan-run covention called, "Gallifrey One". The panel is called the, "Who Crack Video Track". The panel first showed to a packed room and has been well received by a growing audience of fans ever since. During the year, we tempt new recruits and build excitement for the next year's project by giving irregular updates on my Facebook and Twitter accounts, showcasing a video pick or two that will either show up in next year's crack line up or didn't make it because of time constraints, but were too good to go unpraised. Here are samples from our last two years:
2012 (Editor's Dramatic Choice - This Is War - Doctor Who - A Good Man Goes to War by cappiecino)
2011 (Editor's Choice - Doctor Who - Eleven/Amy Fireflies by Bobby McGriffin)
Every one of these music videos is a stand-out, amazing piece of work and it is impossible to not give credit to all of them. To see our full lineups for the past years, check out our YouTube Channel here.
